Metal Halide/LED Illumination Systems
We offer LED and Metal Halide illumination systems for a range of techniques, including fluorescence and brightfield microscopy. Our systems are compatible with both upright and inverted microscopes and can be easily integrated with all major microscope brands – Nikon, Olympus, Leica – as well as with our OpenStand modular system and ProScan Controllers.
Key features include:
- Long life and stable output – up to 2000 hours at 200 watts with our metal halide lamps – a great improvement over the typical life of a standard 100 watt mercury lamp.
- Optional built-in shutter control.
- Low-power LED light sources for brightfield microscopy with up to 10,000 hours life.
